Nurse charged with recording videos of naked patients to be arraigned

A 45-year-old registered nurse is charged with secretly recording videos of eight nude patients, including a 17-year-old girl, over the course of a month while they were being treated at a dermatology center in Lower Makefield.

As The Morning Call reports, the 17-year-old girl had been receiving light treatments for a skin condition at Penn Medicine Dermatology in Lower Makefield, Pennsylvania. Close, employed as a licensed practical nurse, was the technician assigned for her treatments. The teenager later observed that a silver iPhone was placed on the floor close to her feet and actively recording her.

All of the videos were filmed within the light radiation booth, according to court records.

Staff then turned the cellphone over to investigators who, after securing a search warrant, allegedly found about 18 videos depicting the teen victim and seven others, according to the affidavit.
