Here is the First Official Trailer for 'Game of Thrones' Season 7

The final season of the series is expected to premiere in 2018.

But now that the latest Game of Thrones season 7 teaser has dropped, fans can begin a whole new line of speculation.

Though the new trailer of "Game of Thrones" Season 7 had fans squealing with excitement, the most intriguing part was Cersei's scenes. Jon Snow having reclaimed Winterfell back from Ramsay is the third end of the triangle.

The Lannister Queen is seen to claim the Iron Throne. If that didn't drive the point home, we also get a close up of a White Walker's eyeball, which means there's lots of action to expect in the new season.

The premiere of season 7 of Game of Thrones is still almost four months away, but a new trailer teases what's in store for those vying to rule Westeros.

It may be facing backlash over concerns about whitewashing, but the show must go on - and, on Wednesday, it did. While in the future she may run for office, the actress says that she doesn't have the time right now.

Released on March 30, the teaser already has over 9 million views.

Season 6 of Game of Thrones ended with Cersei Lannister on the Iron Throne, Daenerys Targaryen sailing to Westeros to take it, and Jon Snow as the King in the North. Daenerys, surprisingly, sits at another throne.

In a promo called Long Walk, the trio are seen strolling towards different grand chairs as a cover version of James's 90s hit Sit Down plays in the background. The trailer then offers an extreme close-up of a Whiter Walker's eye, suggesting that season 7 will finally see the White Walkers invade Westeros. It's been the topic of much buzz ahead of the Season 7 premiere regardless.

While in seasons past, the first episode has been in April, but with less episodes projected in the last few seasons, the release date has been pushed all the way to July 16.
