Tim Tebow has been worth the price of admission so far for the Columbia Fireflies.

Tebow drove home three runs to give Columbia a 6-0 lead in the fifth inning.

It was a three-run shot against the Augusta (Ga.) Greenjackets (really?), and the ball went well over the right-centerfield fence. His second homer as a Firefly. Needless to say, Tebow has continued to defy the doubters and show that at the very least he can hold his own in minor league baseball.

Tebow entered Sunday hitting.200/200/.500 with four strikeouts in 10 plate appearances. Period. Tebow is not preventing some future star from staying in the Mets organization. And the former National Football League quarterback added to his highlight reel with another blast Sunday.

The Heisman Trophy victor finished the series against the GreenJackets 3-for-13 with five RBIs with five strike outs. He's also struck out five times and left 13 runners on base.

The Fireflies (4-0) averaged 6,501 fans per game in their season-opening series at Spirit Communications Park after averaging 3,785 fans for 69 home games last season.
