James, Cavs hold off Pacers to sweep series

LeBron James scored 33 points and made key plays late Sunday (Monday in Manila) to give the defending NBA champion Cleveland Cavaliers a 106-102 victory at in and a sweep of their playoff series.

LeBron James dominated with 33 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and four steals while Kyrie Irving scored 28.

Pacers All-Star Paul George had a chance to tie the game but his three-point attempt with one second left didn't draw rim. "Ultimately, he is who I'm always going to have to see and face". After telling C.J. Miles that shots with the outcome of the game at stake belong to George after Game 2, George bricked a potential game-tying three-pointer with 1.9 seconds left that sealed the end to the Pacers' season.

Indiana's effort was led by Lance Stephenson, who scored 22 points coming off the bench.

For the game, the 6-foot-8, 250-pounder finished 14-for-27 from the field and 6-for-12 on 3-pointers.

The craziest part of last night game wasn't the 25-point blown lead by the Pacers, most IN fans could have seen that coming. The 4x MVP didn't only break the Pacers into pieces but he was somehow making fun of them.

Joe Johnson inspired the Jazz with 28 points in game four. In a game-two loss, he misfired on 14-of-18 shots in the fourth quarter. But Cleveland's backup point guard, Deron Williams, was a menace for Indiana's defense, scoring six straight Cavalier points to extend Cleveland's lead to 43-39.

After Korver's free throws, Smith stole the ball from Teague for what looked like the series-clinching play, but gave it right back on an errant, behind-the-back flip intended for Irving.
