Equipment water leak stalls spacewalk by US astronauts

After Friday's four-hour spacewalk was complete, and the astronauts were re-entering the airlock to re-pressurize to the 14.7 psi inside the space station, Fischer addressed the end of the 200 spacewalk and how far the space station has come and all the astronauts and support personnel down on Earth over the years. After a short delay caused by a water leak during preparations, NASA astronauts Peggy Whitson and Jack Fischer crawled out of the International Space Station in their space suits for a historic walk beyond the edges of the world-the 200th spacewalk at the ISS. Whitson, who is wearing a suit with red stripes, holds the record for most spacewalks by a female American astronaut. Whitson is also the first woman to command the ISS, a feat achieved in 2008, and holds the record for most time an American has spent in space.

Mission Control stressed throughout the day that Fischer's suit was fine and that the leak was confined to the umbilical hose.

Expedition 51 commander Whiton and Flight Engineer Fischer will replace a large avionics box on the outside of the ISS on Friday, April 12. An equipment water leak has shortened the spacewalk. The adaptor will enable companies like SpaceX and Boeing to visit the station, making it an important port for the future of space exploration.

NASA reports that Whitson is the USA record holder for spacewalks done by a woman, and this will be her ninth trip outside of the space station.

Arsene Wenger delighted at Arsenal win, Mourinho accepts top-four finish impossible
So to have that record of winning so many matches and not losing in so many matches, is something that's not normal. Taking it further, Mourinho didn't relent on his jibe.

According to NASA procedures, the spacewalk can go ahead with just one functioning SCU.

The first U.S. spacewalk started at 3:45 p.m. EDT on the third orbit when White opened the hatch and used the hand-held manuevering oxygen-jet gun to push himself out of the capsule. With coverage starting at 6.30 a.m.

The first-ever ISS spacewalk was conducted on December 7th, 1998 by astronauts Jerry Ross and Jim Newman.

Today, the $100 billion orbiting lab is roughly the size of a football field and a symbol of global cooperation among the 15 nations that have helped build and operate it.

NASA's bulky white spacesuits are aging, and the same models have been in use for four decades.
