We already knew Project Cars 2 was slated for release in September, but now know the exact date.

A new E3 2017 trailer was released as well, showing off footage that might as well be straight up clips form NASCAR with how nice the graphics look. Alongside the release date, PC2 also unveiled a new trailer ahead of E3 titled "The Soul of Motorsport".

There's the multi-class action, where players will be able compete in different vehicle classes from throughout motorsport history. Project Cars 2 gives drivers an open path to achieving their motorsport dreams. Driving in the rain, it seems, will have more consequences than usual, so be sure you've got the right auto and the right tires to grip onto that wet tarmac.

A Limited Edition will be available via GAME in the United Kingdom, while an Ultra Edition is available through Amazon.
