McKenzie prefers to draft, develop and reward homegrown talent, and the 2014 third-round pick should be next in line to do so.

The Raiders still have Mack under contract for the upcoming season and a club option for 2018, not to mention the possibility of using a franchise tag on him beyond that if necessary.

With two members of that vaunted 2014 draft class staying for the long haul, all eyes will shift to Mack as the next in line to collect a big payday.

Jackson started his career at left guard for the Raiders before moving to right guard last season after the team signed Keleche Osemele to man left guard last off-season.
