The 27-year-old U.S. pop star on Monday released a preview of a music video for her latest single, Ready For It, in which she appears unclothed, with geometric lines of lights across her body, although she is likely wearing a nude-coloured bodysuit.

One asked: 'Is she naked with editing or is it a bodysuit??

Formerly known as the princess of pop, Swift has finally let her guard down and debuted a new, much more risqué look.

Fans of the star took to Twitter to share their thoughts over the teaser, with many using the song's title to joke they were not prepared for it.

In the footage, she is seen walking about naked and getting hit by lightening bolts in a scene that is reminiscent of the finale of 1984 movie Ghostbusters.

This is the singer's second music video from her upcoming "Reputation" album, following the high-profile release of "Look What You Made Me Do" back in August.

Currently scheduled for a November 10th release, fans can pre-order Reputation now on iTunes, and download the album's first three tracks, "Look What You Made Me Do", "Ready For It?' and 'Gorgeous", which released just last week.
