WhatsApp's latest features: We can finally 'unsend' unsavory messages

As per WABetaInfo, the WhatsApp v2.17.70 beta for iPhone update comes with code references that point towards a group voice and video calling feature. At the moment, you can use the app to ring contacts individually but voice and video call options are only available in one-on-one conversations. The Beta app for Android also suggests that the administrators will get more new features for "groups", such as the ability to select whether users can modify details in the group.

If we believe WaBetaInfo, than the next version of WhatsApp (V 2.17.70) will have WhatsApp Group Voice Calling feature. "Before it was an internal news, now it's all confirmed", WABetaInfo said in a tweet on Sunday.

While forecasting some yet-to-be-announced features of WhatsApp, WaBetaInfo tweeted, "There are a lot of hidden references about group voice calls, but there is only one reference about group video calls". On a related note, Facebook Messenger and Skype already have the group calling feature up and running.

"WhatsApp 2.17.70 sends a request to the server to ask if the user you are calling is in another group call!"

Giving its over one billion users more power to connect, WhatsApp has confirmed group voice calls in its latest beta version of Android.

Another otion is also to prevent the group creator to be deleted from the group by other administrators. The WhatsApp has also given an incredible feature like one can update the 24-hour status apart from the static status.

It seems that Facebook-owned WhatsApp is all set to bring group calling feature to the app.

According to technology website Teknepolis, one major update is that when you change your phone number in WhatsApp, your contacts would receive notification of the update.

The most recent feature found on WhatsApp for iOS beta version is YouTube integration. However, this will go a step further and allow users to edit specific parts of a message "sent" instead of recalling the entire text.

WhatsApp added the option to make voice calls previous year but the new feature would allow users to add multiple people to the same call. This feature will be called "Delete for Everyone".

Facebook is also working on a group video chat app called Bonfire, but it's only available to a small number of users right now.
