Trump defends Roy Moore: 'He totally denies it'

U.S. President Donald Trump defended embattled U.S. Senate candidate Roy Moore on Tuesday, saying the Alabama Republican had denied allegations of sexual misconduct and emphasizing that he did not want Moore's Democratic opponent to win.

"We don't need a liberal person in there, a Democrat", Trump said as he departed for a five-day holiday in Florida.

The Republican National Committee and the National Republican Senatorial Committee have pulled their support for Mr Moore's campaign ahead of the December 12 special election to fill the seat once held by Republican Jeff Sessions, now the USA attorney general.

The White House earlier said that the president believed that "the people of Alabama should make the decision on who their senator should be", but added that "if the allegations are true", Trump felt Moore should step aside. If you look at what is really going on and you look at all the things that have happened over the past 48 hours, he totally denies it. "He says it didn't happen", Trump said of Moore in response to shouted questions from reporters about the nine women who have made claims against him.

"And, by the way, he totally denies it", Trump said.

Injustice 2 Fighter Pack 3 Trailer Reveals Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
As is the tradition with NetherRealm DLC trailers, the characters from Fighter Pack 2 have been beaten to a pulp. The four turtles appear to be treated as a single fighter, though how that works in practice remains to be seen.

Moore's campaign has been beset by sexual misconduct allegations in recent weeks after a number of women said publicly that Moore had pursued relationships or initiated sexual encounters with them when they were teenagers and he was in his 30s. "And look, you have to look at him also". It's not surprising to see Trump join Republicans in Moore's state. "I'll be letting you know next week", he said.

"Women are very special", Trump said of the broader issue.

A reporter asked Trump if an "accused child molester" was better than a Democrat. "I think it's a very special time". And I'm very happy a lot of these things are coming out. "The women are Trump voters".

Ben DuPré, who identified himself as a longtime Moore ally and billed the event as a news conference, said the former judge is "above reproach".
