McGregor responds to Pacquiao fight speculation

I think a true is fight is what I want to.

But Showtime, who broadcast the fight in the United States, have now revealed that the August 26 showdown failed to beat Mayweather's showdown with Pacquiao in 2015.

Last week, Pacquiao admitted he'd opened talks with McGregor over a big-money fight in April next year.

The historic clash on August 26 saw the Irish UFC star make his professional boxing debut against Mayweather, an unbeaten former five-weight world champion.

McGregor was asked to clarify that remark.

Showtime added that global revenues, including ticket sales, sponsorship and worldwide distribution, exceeded $600m (£450.42m). The boxing superstar's long-term coach Freddie Roach is surprisingly uninterested in seeing his most successful fighter take on the UFC lightweight champion, however.

UFC president Dana White quickly refuted those claims and even stated he'd sue Pacquiao and his representatives if they attempted to do so. Will will we see him in the octagon in 2018?

"It's a very winnable fight [against Conor McGregor], and there's a lot of money to be made from it".

You couldn't blame McGregor for tossing up the idea of boxing again.

McGregor lost a 10th-round TKO to Floyd Mayweather in a lucrative boxing match in August.

"If we can negotiate it, I have no problem".

It is probably safe to say this one won't happen, especially if this man has anything to say about it...
