Manhunt underway for MI couple after 4-year-old child murdered

A manhunt is underway for a MI woman and her boyfriend charged in the death of the woman's 4-year-old daughter, who suffered injuries that included severe burns on her arms and legs. Fields is also charged as a habitual offender.

Authorities need the public's help tracking down a man and woman accused in the death of a four-year-old girl found severely burned in MI, according to KTLA sister station WNEM. Responding officers noted the child had "obvious severe burns about her extremities".

Gabby was rushed to St Joseph Mercy Hospital, where she was pronounced dead a short time later. A Washtenaw County Medical Examiner ruled the little girl's death as a homicide, with signs of "Battered Child Syndrome".

Police said Diaz and Fields are believed to be driving a black 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier with the MI plate DTR 1854.

They both have warrants for their arrest on charges of torture, child abuse, felony murder, and second degree murder. She died shortly thereafter.

Police in Sumpter Township, Michigan, are on the lookout for a couple after the woman's four-year-old daughter was found dead in a house on New Year's Day.

Spotify hit with $1.6 billion lawsuit
They're arguing that Wixen's contract with their songwriters won't let them take legal actions on the songwriters behalf. What Spotify failed to do, according to the lawsuit, was "obtain the equivalent rights for the compositions".

The story is still developing.

The man involved in the incident was arrested and charged with domestic violence.

The suspects were arrested by U.S. Marshals in Macon, Georgia with help from the Lowndes County Sheriff Department, said Sumpter Township Police Chief Eric Luke in a news release. Diaz pleaded guilty to weapons offenses and was given a probationary sentence. "I know we may not have a lot of information at all, but, it just hurts", said Barrett. Grandfather Jerry Barrett noted that it was hard to grieve because the family could not put her to rest.

Barrett's grandmother, Deborah Barret said: "She was a ball of joy".

Donations were being accepted by Gabrielle's family at a Go Fund Me page. "She would run around the house when we had her, always with a big ol' smile on her face".

Police records paint a chaotic picture of life inside the couple's home, where Fields was accused in 2016 of assaulting Diaz, shooting her dog and shooting himself.
