Georgia quarterback Jacob Eason expected to transfer to Washington

Eason went to high school in Lake Stevens, Wash. which is 45 minutes from UW.

Three weeks after the Huskies signed two four-star quarterbacks in the 2018 recruiting class, Colson Yankoff and Jacob Sirmon, The Seattle Times reported that Washington native Jacob Eason is expected to transfer from Georgia. He didn't specified where he will transfer.

After beginning the 2017 season as Georgia's starter, Eason suffered a knee injury and was replaced by freshman Jake Fromm, who led the Bulldogs to a spot in the College Football Playoff National Championship.

That would also work in Eason's favor, as per NCAA rules he would have to sit out a season. In 2016, Eason finished 204-of-370 for 2,430 yards and 16 passing touchdowns. He was immediately replaced under center by freshman Jake Fromm, who came so close to leading the Bulldogs to their first national title in almost four decades. After sitting out 2018, he will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.

It is still not confirmed where he will be transferring but rumors have claimed he will be going back to his home state of Washington.

USA: Trump Asks For More Funds to Build Mexico Border Wall
Mexico has repeatedly stated that it will not pay to build the wall. "But yes, in some form, Mexico will pay for the wall". In September, President Trump shut the program down and gave Congress six months to come up with an alternate policy.

Washington has the pieces in place to compete for Pac-12 titles, especially with a quarterback the caliber of Eason under center.

"You still prepare like it's the same as previous year like you're the man", Eason said. "The best thing about him, he's anxious about this team".

During the lead-up to the Rose Bowl, Eason acknowledged that it was quite a change to be relegated to a backup role. Despite the unfortunate circumstances, he really bonded with Fromm and worked hard to help him prepare for the games.

Leaving University of Georgia would make a lot of sense for Eason.

"Jacob has handled this situation as good as any human being could ever handle it", he said.
