Battle for Azeroth Launching This Summer

Almost three months since its announcement at Blizzcon 2017, World of Warcraft's latest expansion, Battle for Azeroth, is now up for preorder. As part of those pre-orders you'll get early access to Allied Races, as well as a level 110 character boost. Once you have completed a few Alliance quests and earned yourself the respect of an Allied Race, you will unlock the ability to use that race in character creation. As a new age of warfare begins, Azeroth's heroes must set out on a journey to recruit new allies, race to claim the world's mightiest resources, and fight on several fronts to determine whether the Horde or Alliance will lead Azeroth into its uncertain future. The press release says summer, and the disclaimer mentions "on or before September 21, 2018", the official "end" of summer. You can be Exalted with the Highmountain Tauren as a member of the Alliance for example, but you can't start the recruitment quest. The expansion will be available in standard, digital, and digital deluxe editions, with the details on the variations of the three versions being available on Blizzard's website.

However, just because the Allied Races are now available doesn't mean they're accessible to everyone.

Whether you're fiercely battling other pets or simply want to put your feet up on its sturdy shell, Tottle the baby Tortollan pet's got you covered.

Pre-orders for the game are already live, and the stampede to get them has caused trouble with Blizzard's purchasing servers across multiple games, as I discovered last night while playing Hearthstone.

Bill Beekman assumes role of Michigan State University president
Pegler-Gordon's stance was one variation on a familiar theme during Friday night's Michigan State University rally at The Rock. She said in a statement that what happened at the school is "abhorrent" and "cannot happen ever again - there or anywhere".

Overwatch: Torbjorn gets Horde and Alliance voice lines, Tracer will have some new emotes, and everyone will have access to WoW-themed sprays and player icons.

With this expansion also comes the usual addition of content, such as the level cap being raised, new dungeons and raids being added, new continents, and new mechanics.

Heroes of the Storm: You can ride into battle on a Primal Flamesaber mount, available in green, white, and toast colours.
