Radio host accused of groping Taylor Swift gets new job

David Mueller, who was sacked from his DJ job at a Denver radio station in 2013 after Taylor claimed he groped her during a concert meet-and-greet, has now been hired as a DJ at a MS outlet.

During the trial, Swift testified that when Mueller groped her, "I remember being frantic, distressed, feeling violated in a way I had never experienced before".

"I sat down with him face-to-face in Minneapolis before I offered him the job and talked to him about it".

However, Swift fans are having none of it and they have launched attacks about Mueller's hiring on social media, but Fuss refuses to entertain criticism about his decision. He also said that most of the people who seem to be upset about it "don't have a clue" or "don't really have knowledge of the facts".

'Most of them need to get a life, ' he said. It's all originating from some Taylor Swift fan group somewhere. After an internal KYGO investigation, he was sacked.

Fuss says he expected most of the backlash around Mueller to have subsided by now, adding that his station is currently deleting the negative comments being posted to the Facebook page.

At the same time, Fuss admitted that hiring Mueller was "maybe a tiny bit" about publicity for for WMYZ-FM. "It's always been my goal to have something good-sounding coming out of the speakers". The man was sacked from his job at Colorado radio station KYGO in June 2013 after the 27-year-old told higher-ups that he slipped his hand under her skirt and put his hand on her butt as they posed for a picture together. Fuss chose to lengthen that name to Stonewall Jackson - a reference to the Confederate Civil War general - on KIX to give his moniker a southern spin.
