Ex-49ers lineman's disturbing Instagram post might have led to school closing

It appears that former Dolphins offensive lineman Jonathan Martin, who back in 2013 accused teammates of bullying, posted a photo on his Instagram story of a shotgun on a bed with 18 bullets sprawled out around it. Among those who were found to have harassed Martin in the 144-page Wells report were Dolphins' linemen Richie Incognito, John Jerry and former Florida star Mike Pouncey.

Law enforcement tells TMZ Sports.

Incognito was suspended midway through the 2013 and never played a down for the Dolphins again. Additionally, on the barrel of the gun he used the hashtag #HarvardWestlake, which is the L.A. high school that Martin attended.

The official says Martin was being questioned and was not under arrest Friday afternoon. Harvard-Westlake was closed on Friday due to Martin's post.

Instagram story by Jonathan Martin, who spent three seasons in the National Football League, prompts his alma mater to shut down Friday. In the post, a gun and shotgun shells are clearly displayed, with the caption, "When you're a bully victim & a coward, your options are suicide, or revenge". Martin was taken in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft but after the NFL's investigation into the bullying matter, Martin was traded from the Dolphins to the San Francisco 49ers. There has been a spate of school shooting threats across the country, prompting closures, since the February 14 murders. Police suspect Martin is behind the supposed threats and are now investigating. He later admitted to depression and said he had attempted suicide. The coaches also asked Incognito to "toughen up" Martin and Incognito took that as an invitation taunt and emotionally torture Martin endlessly.

At this time, it's unclear if Martin is receiving medical treatment. He also said he had been uncomfortable at Harvard-Westlake as "one of just a handful of minorities" on the campus.
