In a shocking incident, Frances McDormand who was awarded as the best actress at 90th Academy Awards lost her golden boy while attending an Oscars after-party.

Luckily, the culprit - and the statuette - were located by Los Angeles Police, who confirmed Terry Bryant was arrested for grand theft, after the gong went missing from the Governor's Ball.

Frances McDormand celebrated her 90 Academy Awards win with tequila and was gracious enough to share the drink with fellow victor Allison Janney.

A Facebook video uploaded by Bryant shows him standing with the statuette in the Governors Ball, the Oscars after-party where police say he took it.

Los Angeles police say Bryant had a ticket for the ball and he quickly yielded it when confronted by officers. The award was later returned to McDormand.
