'You're welcome': Zlatan Ibrahimovic announces LA Galaxy move with full-page advert

Former Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic confirms his move to Los Angeles Galaxy via a full-page advert in the LA Times.

New LA Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic says it will be up to him whether he makes a comeback for Sweden at the World Cup in Russian Federation.

The entire ad consisted of just five words and mostly white space.

"The LA Galaxy announced today that forward Zlatan Ibrahimović has joined the club", Galaxy announced on their official website on Friday.

However, because the Galaxy have already signed their designated players for the 2018 season, Ibrahimovic's salary will be limited to around $1.5 million (1.2 million euros) according to the Sports Illustrated report. He has played for Ajax Amsterdam, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, winning a league title with every club he has been at except Manchester.

However, he proved his doubters wrong by scoring 29 goals in 53 appearances for the Red Devils, helping the club to win the Europa League and League Cup last season.

UNC Basketball Victim of Theft; Over $7K in Electronics, Goods Stolen
UNC can play down to its competition at times, but I think their talent level is just too great for the Aggies to compete with. Despite the large deficit, it always felt like seniors Joel Berry and Theo Pinson had one more run left in the tank.

The 36-year-old, Sweden's record scorer with 62 goals in 116 games, has been linked with a move to the United States for some time as he looks to write another chapter in his glittering club career.

"I am ready to go now", Ibrahimovic told the LA Times.

Manchester United agreed to the mutual termination of Ibrahimovic's contract on Thursday, paving the way for the 36-year-old to complete his move to the MLS.

"Because if Ibrahimovic can't make Los Angeles care about the Galaxy, there isn't a player who can". I'm not there for something else.

A move to Los Angeles would see him join fellow ex-Premier League players Ashley Cole and Giovani Dos Santos.

Ibrahimovic's LA Galaxy contract will take him through his 38th birthday, and while the Swedish striker is a self-proclaimed lion and an athletic specimen, there's certainly still a bit of risk involved here. Ibrahimovic hasn't played for United since December due to a knee injury, and his contract was set to expire this summer. Thank you to the club, the coach, the fans, the team, the staff and everybody who experienced with me this part of my history.
