Bayern started winning again, and didn't stop.

Shortly after Bayern Munich sealed their sixth consecutive Bundesliga title with a 4-1 win over Augsburg on Saturday, head coach Jupp Heynckes paid tribute to his predecessor Carlo Ancelotti.

Determined to delay Bayern's celebrations, Augsburg looked threatening early on - Caiuby flashing a well-struck effort across the face of goal. Since 2000, Bayern Munich won 12 titles but not once were they able to win it in front of their fans!

The Bavarians did not get off the best of starts as they fell behind in the 18th minute through an own goal from Niklas Sule. With the league title now in their pocket, Bayern can fully focus on the UEFA Champions league as they have a 2-1 advantage over Sevilla.

"It was clear that we'd be German champions at some stage with the lead that we had, but at the time (assistant) Peter Hermann and I returned it wasn't foreseeable as we were five points behind and the team wasn't really functioning properly", said Heynckes, the oldest coach to win a Bundesliga title at 72.

Changes could also be made in Bayern's midfield, with Arturo Vidal set to miss the game through injury, while Javi Martinez and Thiago could be rested at the weekend. "Everyone delivered great work".
