He added: "We'll continue to build our 5G foundation across the country and along the way we'll keep sharing updates on 5G trials, new 5G Evolution markets, new LTE-LAA markets, and name more cities where we'll launch standards-based mobile 5G in 2018". Pittsburgh region's air pollution worsening, report says
Compared to the 2017 report, some SC cities, like Columbia, experienced more unhealthy days of high ozone in this year's report. Golden State becomes smoggy State, the California is named as golden state but due to pollution its name comes to change.

The announcement comes after AT&T revealed at the beginning of the year that it would be officially launching its 5G technology later this year in a dozen cities including Dallas, Atlanta and Waco, Texas. The outlet took exception to the fact that 5G technology does not yet fully exist, and the technology AT&T is using for 5G Evolution it not what is considered 5G technology. "In technology terms, that means we're upgrading cell towers with LTE Advanced features like 256 QAM, 4×4 MIMO, and 3-way carrier aggregation", said AT&T CTO Andre Fuetsch in a blog post about their path to 5G.

Fuetsch outlined AT&T's 5G path a little further, highlighting the role SDN and the cloud plays in that path. He argued that boosting the current LTE network is "priming it for the future of connectivity", allowing an upgrade to 5G when it is ready. Feutsch highlighted that AT&T has reached a goal of virtualizing 55% of their network in 2017, on the way to a goal of 65% by the end of this year.
