Following reports that Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) was recently interviewed by lawyers conducting an investigation for Ohio State University over allegations that a former doctor abused wrestlers decades ago when Jordan was a coach for the team, Jordan continued to claim he was under attack from the left.

U.S. Representative Jim Jordan is facing accusations that he knew about alleged sexual assaults while working as Ohio State University's assistant wrestling coach. Jordan is not named as a defendant in either lawsuit.

"All I can do is tell the truth and keep fighting for the folks back in the fourth district of OH, and doing what we told the American people we were going to do".

"But these officials turned a blind eye to the abuse", the complaint says. "Never had any reported to me".

Mulvin said he feels vindicated, and it now confirms what he always believed: "he really did molest me".

Among the allegations in the lawsuit is that two wrestlers met with former Athletic Director Andy Geiger during the 1994-1995 season and complained about voyeurism and lewd acts by Strauss and other men at their practice facility.

The four wrestlers, whose names were not listed in the lawsuit, say Strauss sexually assaulted or harassed them in the late 1980s or 1990s.

Earlier this week, two lawsuits seeking class-action status were filed against Ohio State in federal court. He was suing "individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated". He said Strauss did a full-body exam and inappropriately touched him. He was a wrestler for OSU from 1982 to 1984.

OSU says its responses to any complaints are a key part of the investigation.

The Ohio State University remains actively committed to uncovering what may have happened and what university leaders at the time may have known. The victims, the school said, could have included high school-age students while he was still employed at Ohio State. "These allegations are troubling and are a critical focus of the current investigation".

"We just thought it was time to get this thing teed up for a lawsuit so that there would be vehicle for everybody to try to figure out how to deal with it, how to compensate victims and how to change what OSU's been doing so this doesn't happen again", Sharp told The Dispatch in a phone interview Tuesday.

The allegations date from the period 1979 to 1997 and were reported confidentially to the investigative team by former students engaged in university athletics, including varsity men student-athletes in 14 sports, and by former patients of Student Health Services.
