Since news broke Tuesday that Demi Lovato had been rushed to a Los Angeles hospital following a suspected overdose, fans and fellow celebrities have flooded social media with messages of support.

Lovato, 25, was taken to a Los Angeles hospital after a drug overdose incident at her Hollywood Hills home.

Her spokesperson told the BBC: "Demi is awake and with her family who want to express thanks to everyone for the love, prayers, and support".
