Trevor Heitmann, an 18-year-old YouTube gamer, shocked everyone when he killed himself and an innocent mother and daughter on August 23 after speeding in the wrong direction on Interstate 805 in San Diego and ultimately crashing his $200k sports vehicle. A spokesperson for the San Diego County Department of Public Safety confirmed the driver involved in the crash was Trevor Heitmann. Heitmann's McLaren was traveling at nearly 100 miles per hour as he drove south on a northbound carpool lane on the I-805 highway. He collided with a Hyundai driven by a 43-year-old woman who was with her 12-year-old daughter.

What is known is this: Heitmann smashed his McLaren sports auto into another vehicle Thursday afternoon, killing a woman and her 12-year-old daughter.

According to the Los Angeles Times, a person who called 911 to report the crash said, "The whole northbound side [of the freeway] is on fire".

He had nearly 900,000 subscribers on YouTube and hundreds of thousands of followers on Twitter.

CHP officers were at the school Thursday, but officials did not say whether the two incidents were connected. Six other vehicles were also involved, and two combusted in flames.
