"Lee's death came just one day after he tweeted a photo of himself in his WWII uniform for Veterans" Day.

"So touched by all of the celebrities posting pictures of themselves with Stan Lee... no better way to commemorate an absolute legend than putting up a picture of yourself", he wrote. "He did listen to me and we have been working on a character called "Dirt Man", she said.

A legend and visionary in the comic book industry, Lee had in recent years been a regular on the big screen due to his consistent cameos in Marvel Cinematic Universe films.
