The 7-year-old making $31.7m — YouTube top earners

According to Forbes, Ryan, from Ryan ToysReview, has topped the list of 2018's highest-earning YouTube stars, raking in US$22 million ($31.7m).

As per report, the little Ryan who reviews toys has been revealed as YouTube's highest-earning star, raking in $22m (£17.3m), having his own range of toys at U.S. store Walmart. From March 2015, the YouTube channel Ryan ToysReview grew to prominence and now commands over 17 million subscribers.

Aside from the child millionaire, the rest of YouTube's top earners are what you'd expect. While Ryan's earnings can last him "100 lifetimes" according to Chas Lacaillade, the founder and CEO of Bottle Rocket Management, he has his own line of merchandise, like action figures, t-shirts, toy cars and more.

Videos are posted most days and one promoting a blue giant mystery egg bearing Ryan's face has had more than a million views since Sunday. It seems that Ryan's fan base watch a lot of videos, but do not necessarily subscribe to his channel. He was placed 8th Top Earner past year.

Ryan's current earnings of $22 million is 12 months' worth of income leading up to June 1, 2018. The remaining $1 million from sponsored posts.
