The Rockets will send guard Brandon Knight, forward Marquese Chriss and a 2019 lottery protected first-round pick to the Cavaliers.

The Cavaliers are trading Alec Burks and a second-round draft pick to the Kings in a three-way trade according to multiple reports.

Wojnarowski later reported that Canadian Nik Stauskas and Wade Baldwin (recently acquired in a Cavs trade with the Portland Trail Blazers) will also make their way to Houston as part of the deal. In Barnes, the Kings get a 6-foot-8, seventh-year player who is averaging 17.8 points and shooting 39 percent from 3-point range in 48 games this season. General manager Koby Altman traded Kyle Korver for Burks and two second-round picks.

Knight was made available, in part, because of his hefty contract, which is paying him $14.6 million this season. The Cavaliers will also continue to look elsewhere as they seek to rebuild a team that now stands at 11-43 on the year.

Mueller probe 'close to being completed': acting U.S. attorney general
CNN reports that Whitaker has been "fully briefed" on Mueller's investigation and that he anticipates a swift end to the probe. The timing of Mueller's investigation had been a matter of intense speculation since months after it began in May 2017.

This marks the third time in four days the pair were traded, together.

In the case of Chriss, he's an expiring contract who will be a free agent this summer but will have an opportunity to show his worth while playing on the clearly rebuilding Cavaliers. The former North Carolina standout grew up in Houston and has appeared in 120 career National Basketball Association games (44 starts) since the Kings selected him with the No. 15 overall pick in 2017.

Ennis has been a valuable reserve for the Rockets, averaging 7.4 points, 2.9 rebounds and a steal per game in 23.7 minutes per game.

There is still time before the National Basketball Association trade deadline for the Kings to fill some gaps that Shumpert will leave behind.
