Meghan Markle makes secret girls' trip to NY

Meghan Markle has not been having a great time of it with the British media - yeah, understatement of the century.

It's no doubt an important link to the Duchess of Sussex, who clearly works hard to ensure that Diana's presence is still felt in the royal family today, especially during key moments in her wedding to Prince Harry previous year.

Duchess Meghan Markle reportedly made a trip to New York City this past weekend for a baby shower thrown by her friends!

According to Harper's Bazaar, sources have revealed that the Duchess of Sussex, who is seven-months pregnant, flew into the Big Apple last Friday for a five-night break and lavish private baby shower with some of her closest friends.

Ahh! How exciting! It's nearly hard to remember anything about the 37-year-old before her new Royal life, never-ending family drama and plans for her baby on the way took over attention...

"William and Harry are working to make sure the Sussexes have an office that can support their family when they move to Frogmore this spring".

Harry and Meghan are "ambitious about forging their own paths", a source told the Sunday Times.

The source added: "Meg will be flying home refreshed and relaxed - and with a lot of new baby clothes".

Meghan and Harry are now renovating Frogmore Cottage, which previously served as housing to palace workers and was comprised of several different living units.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are set to leave Kensington Palace soon, with Frogmore Cottage, in Windsor Castle, their likely destination.

Meghan Markle retired from acting after marrying Prince Harry but a film she starred in is set for release later this year. It's a double homecoming since the now-royal family member's movie will only be released in America.
