Jordan Bell suspended one game for 'conduct detrimental to the team'

Warriors' center Jordan Bell was suspended for the defending champs' game against the Memphis Grizzlies after charging something to assistant coach Mike Brown's credit card without his permission. The team paid for the hotel rooms at The Peabody, but anything else purchased at the hotel has to be cleared by individuals. According to his thread, during Bell's rookie season, guys would charge small things to his hotel room as a way of hazing him. But what is known is that the unknown item ended up being charged to Warriors assistant coach Mike Brown.

"Brown was alerted to the charge".

While it's unclear what Bell did to earn the suspension, his production with the Warriors has been lackluster, at best.

The star tall was made unavailable by the Warriors for their 118-103 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday, which put the Warriors back on top of the western conference. "There was concern, sources say, that this wasn't the first time Bell has pulled this maneuver on some unknowing member of the organization".

Bell is set to return to the court on Friday night when the Warriors travel to Minnesota to take on the Timberwolves.

Earlier in the season, Bell was caught in a shouting match with head coach Steve Kerr on January 21, during a timeout in a game against the Los Angeles Lakers.

"The release was self explanatory", Kerr said.

In 61 games so far this season, the 24-year-old Bell is averaging 3.0 points per game to go along with 2.7 rebounds.
