Game Of Thrones Theory Suggests Arya Will Kill The Night King

New stills from season 8 episode 3 of Game of Thrones are finally out and give us a tiny glimpse on what we can expect from the upcoming battle.

The photos feature key characters including Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), Jon Snow (Kit Harington), Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner), Arya Stark (Maisie Williams), Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie) and Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) gearing up for the Battle of Winterfell. Sapochnik has handled duties like this before for "Game of Thrones" after directing the episodes "The Battle of the Bastards" as well as 2015's "Hardhome", which also featured the army of the dead. Joining them would be people of strategic importance like the Hand of the Queen, Tyrion Lannister and Varys (Jon Snow even suggested that Bran be sent there as it would be the safest).

So, everyone is now in position for the huge battle between the living and the dead, Dany and Jon look set to mount their respective dragon steeds and fly into battle, Jaime Lannister and (Ser) Brienne of Tarth are on the ground, and Tyrion and Vars are down in the crypts.

After a very nice (perhaps too nice) lead-up to the fabled Battle of Winterfell, Game of Thrones is ready to absolutely break our hearts and probably kill most of its characters in this third episode. She looks glum, sitting all by herself and maybe that is why she joins her sister Arya on the ramparts later. There were a lot of goodbyes in this episode, or at least moments that seemed like goodbyes.

While we know all men must die, and some of our favorite characters could be the ones to go this time around, it just felt like something was missing.

Samwell Tarly: Won't be fighting in the Battle of Winterfell.

"In honor of Easter, I guess Game of Thrones wanted the storyline to have a little Easter bunny hop hop hoppin' into that p***y". In Season 4, Bran (Isaac Hempstead-Wright) has a vision in the episode, "Breaker of Chains", in which he sees the Throne room desolate and cloaked in a snow-like substance.

Cersei Lannister: It's unlikely she'll make an appearance until Episode 4.
